  What is a WARM UP match  ??      A Warm up match may also be called a practice match and is played before any major tournament to help teams to prepare themselves for the upcoming competition. The main goal of this match is to let the players acclimatized to the conditions, check their skills and get know how about the pitch condition they are going to play. It helps them to prepare their strategies according to the local conditions. Official Status: these matches don’t have any official status and have no effect on international ranking of teams or players.
